1. About QRitique
QRitique is a feedback and voucher platform that lets businesses create QR codes, collect verified customer critiques, view feedback in a dashboard, and issue return-visit discount vouchers.
These Terms & Conditions apply when you access or use the QRitique website, public business pages, critique forms, voucher pages, and dashboard features.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using QRitique, creating an account, submitting a critique, scanning a QR code, redeeming a voucher, or accessing a business dashboard, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
If you use QRitique on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.
3. Business accounts
Business users are responsible for:
- providing accurate business profile, contact, website, and voucher information;
- keeping login details secure and restricting dashboard access to authorised people;
- checking that QR codes, public profile pages, and voucher terms are accurate before sharing them;
- responding to customer feedback lawfully, fairly, and professionally;
- honouring valid vouchers according to the offer displayed or otherwise made clear to customers.
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being misused, used unlawfully, or creating risk for QRitique, customers, or other businesses.
4. Customer critiques
Customers should submit critiques that are honest, fair, and based on a genuine visit, purchase, enquiry, or interaction with the relevant business.
Customers must not submit content that is false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory, unlawful, spam, promotional, or unrelated to the business experience.
QRitique may reject, hide, archive, delete, or investigate critiques where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or support a business in managing inappropriate content.
5. Email verification
QRitique may require customers to verify their email address before a critique is accepted and before a voucher is issued. Verification links may expire for security reasons. If a link expires, the customer may be able to request a new one.
6. Vouchers and rewards
Vouchers are issued for the business shown on the voucher and are not transferable unless the business expressly allows it. Voucher value, expiry date, redemption process, and availability may vary by business.
- A voucher may only be used once unless stated otherwise.
- A voucher may be refused if it is expired, already redeemed, cancelled, suspicious, or not connected to the issuing business.
- Businesses are responsible for explaining any additional voucher conditions, such as minimum spend, excluded products, booking requirements, or opening-hour restrictions.
- QRitique records voucher activity so businesses can manage redemption and prevent misuse.
7. Subscriptions, plans, and payments
QRitique's core business subscription is £19.99 per month unless a different price is shown at checkout or agreed in writing. Tier 2 is £179.88 paid upfront for 12 months, equivalent to £14.99 per month. Payments are processed through Stripe, and payment details are entered and stored by Stripe rather than by QRitique.
Tier 1 is a monthly rolling subscription with a minimum initial term of three months. After the three-month minimum term, the subscription continues monthly until cancelled. Tier 2 is a 12-month upfront payment for the term shown at checkout.
If a business asks to cancel during the initial three-month minimum term, cancellation will normally be scheduled for the end of that minimum term. After the minimum term, cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Businesses are responsible for keeping billing details accurate. Any refunds, credits, or cancellations will be handled according to the plan terms shown at the time of purchase or as required by law.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use QRitique to:
- break the law or encourage unlawful behaviour;
- submit malicious, abusive, or fraudulent content;
- attempt to access another business account, customer record, voucher, or dashboard without permission;
- interfere with security, availability, rate limits, QR codes, email verification, or voucher redemption;
- upload or link to harmful code, phishing pages, deceptive content, or unsafe websites;
- scrape, copy, or republish substantial parts of QRitique without permission.
9. User content and business content
Businesses and customers keep ownership of the content they submit, but grant QRitique permission to host, process, display, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the service.
Businesses are responsible for the images, profile information, websites, offers, and contact details they provide. Customers are responsible for the critiques and contact details they submit.
10. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how QRitique collects, uses, stores, and shares information. By using QRitique, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled as described in that policy.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep QRitique reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be updated, improved, removed, paused, or replaced as the product develops or as operational needs change.
We may perform maintenance, introduce security controls, or restrict access where necessary to protect QRitique or its users.
12. Third-party services and links
QRitique may link to business websites, maps, email tools, payment services, analytics providers, or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
13. Disclaimers
QRitique provides tools for collecting feedback and managing vouchers. We do not guarantee that critiques are complete, accurate, representative, or free from error, even where email verification is used.
Businesses are responsible for decisions they make based on feedback, analytics, customer details, and voucher activity. Customers are responsible for checking voucher conditions with the issuing business.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QRitique is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or issues caused by misuse, third-party services, inaccurate business information, customer-submitted content, or events outside our reasonable control.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to QRitique if a user or business breaches these terms, creates risk, fails to pay applicable fees, misuses vouchers, abuses customers, interferes with the service, or uses QRitique unlawfully.
Businesses may stop using QRitique at any time, subject to any active subscription or billing terms.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Continued use of QRitique after changes means you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing law
Unless mandatory local law says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the support ticket page.
